Trained in the principles and application of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, I specialise in providing evidence-based intervention that addresses behaviours that are causing an individual problems and distress. I help individuals understand, accept and validate emotions that impact on their thoughts and behaviours and teach new ways of coping.

As a Dialectical Behavioural Therapist, my role is to guide individuals towards a path of healing, resilience, and personal growth.  By incorporating elements of dialectical thinking, mindfulness, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness techniques,  I work to empower clients reclaim control over difficult emotions and foster meaningful change. I also integrate various therapeutic modalities to ensure a well-rounded and tailored treatment plan is developed for each client.

I have dedicated a significant part of my career to working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic and family violence. My knowledge in these areas allows me to address the specific challenges associated to individuals who have been subjected to violence.

Recognising the interconnectedness of trauma and mental health, I focus on building a therapeutic environment where clients can safely explore their experiences and focus on recovery.

I am unwavering in my commitment to supporting clients in their journey towards recovery and building a life worth living.
